Minerals | Magnesite

MgCO3 makes up the chemical structure of the Magnesium Carbonate mineral known as Magnesite. Its name refers to the Magnesium that is included in its makeup. Magnesite often develops during the metamorphism or chemical weathering of carbonate or magnesium-rich rocks.

Large quantities of Magnesite are burnt to make magnesium oxide: an important refractory (heat-resistant) material used as a lining in blast furnaces, kilns and incinerators & in the steel industry. Magnesite is also utilized in small quantities as a gem and lapidary material.

Our Magnesite is of Oman Origin and we are one of the largest supplier of high quality grade in the Western & Northern States of India.
